Roleplay Style & Preferences: Organic, character-driven story, dialogue, mature, heavy (not in reference to how much time is spent IC, but in reference to how strong the IC / OOC line is kept). My RP style is fluid and continuous, and I adhere to playing out one day in RP = one day in the real world. I use off-line time to fill in my character's life with the more mundane tasks not related to storytelling. The more RP is fueled by IC actions and means, the more I feel engaged.
I have started to shy away from using OOC means to connect in RP, as I find those bonds never last. I'm a roleplayer first, and greatly cherish the roleplayer that is creative enough, and has the time and patience, to build connections through roleplay.
On OOC communication / permissions: I operate my characters on implied consent, meaning as long as the roleplay makes sense to the setting, the timeline and what is being played out, no OOC permission / communication is needed on my behalf. I am happy to answer OOC questions, or give clarification where it's needed by those I RP with, but will shy away from too much OOC chatter during roleplay.
ADDIUM: If harmful intent is aimed toward my character, I do require OOC communication prior, if only to feel secure in the knowledge that the player behind the antagonist is willing to accept IC consequences.
